Your teenager is usually dramatic about everything and causes problems in your home. You feel the tension rising and are unsure how to make your home peaceful again. Your teen suffers from depression and low self-esteem, impacting school, friendships and a desire to live. They are navigating academic, social media, and family pressures as they work to formulate their identity. You notice the anxiety is at an all-time high, but they shut out every idea you suggest.

As a cognitive-behavioral therapist (CBT) and trauma-informed counselor, I can help your child bring light back into their life. Through a safe and inclusive environment, your teen will begin to explore underlying issues, develop healthy coping skills, and gain confidence. I will encourage your teen to explore their inner world, challenge self-limiting beliefs, and work towards creating positive change.

As a parent, you will be invited to participate in teen therapy sessions for open and honest discussions to resolve conflicts, reduce stress, and improve relationships. You will gain tools to increase communication skills and build stronger bonds within your family. You and your teen’s willingness and consistent participation is crucial to your success.

Through teen therapy and family therapy, you will be provided a safe space to explore personal experiences and challenges without fear of criticism and societal pressures. I will assist you in gaining insight, exploring new perspectives, and making informed decisions that align with your personal values and goals.

As an adult, you may be in a difficult period of your life. You have experienced ongoing traumas, big or little, and are terrified to face them. You are angry with yourself and others, have failed relationships, and ongoing anxiety. You may be navigating complex transitions, forming your identity, and encountering a multitude of social and familial pressures.

You desperately want change.

Together through adult therapy, you can rebuild your self-esteem, recognize your supports, and navigate challenges effectively. I help address your concerns along with anxiety, depression, and self-esteem. Through CBT and trauma focused interventions, I provide empathetic and effective care.
