COUNSELOR & PLAY THERAPIST
When you walk into the office or a playroom with a client, it feels amazing. Your face lights up and you enthrall in watching children discover their world through toys, art, and self-expression. You are a skilled licensed counselor with a full watering can ready to pour into the teens and adults with creative interventions who come lost and confused. Simply put, you LOVE your counseling job! You are a fully licensed mental health counselor in the state of Texas who is ethical and well trained, but looking for a place that you can call your forever home.
You’re looking for a private practice setting that can offer you flexibility and autonomy. You want to be able to see your clients without the stress and overwhelm of managing overhead costs, but you’re also curious to learn. All you really want to do is care for the families you serve and go home at the end of the day in a positive, relaxed environment.
At Brave Space, we provide the tools and resources you need to do just that: put your counseling passion and care into families without the headache of maintaining the nitty-gritty details of the practice. We provide a collaborative working environment with added perks and fair compensation.
We are looking for someone who loves to work with kids, teens, and parents and is ideally a Registered Play Therapist or someone who is eager to earn their credential. We will take care of filling your schedule with the clients you love, a furnished office space, and administrative tasks. All we need is for you to show up, be the compassionate therapist you are, and help make a difference in our community.
