COUNSELOR & PLAY THERAPIST
JOB OPPORTUNITIES
When you walk into the therapy room with a client, it feels amazing. Your face lights up and you enthrall in watching them discover their world and self through toys, art, and self-expression. You are a skilled licensed counselor with a full watering can ready to pour into your clients with creative interventions who come lost and confused. You love your counseling job (and are dang good at it, too!), but you feel a little lonely in your current environment. You want to be with other therapists who you can turn to for support, collaboration, resources, and quite a bit of humor and fun to help relieve the heaviness of the work that you do.
You’re looking for a private practice setting that can offer you flexibility and autonomy, without stifling your own creative self. You want to be able to see your clients without the stress and overwhelm of managing overhead costs. All you really want to do is care for the families you serve in a positive, supportive environment and go home at the end of the day knowing you have made a difference.
At Brave Space, we provide the tools and resources you need to do just that: put your counseling passion and care into families without the headache of maintaining the nitty-gritty details of the practice. We provide a collaborative working environment with added perks and competitive compensation.
Full-Time Counselor Job Opportunity:
Your passion is working with kids, teens, and parents utilizing Play Therapy and creative interventions. You have completed a graduate course or equivalent training in Play Therapy. You are organized, communicative and easily collaborate with parents and professionals. You are an eager learner, maintaining your licensure by attending quality continuing education trainings. You will carry a full-caseload (23+ sessions per week) with a variety of ages and presenting concerns. You are a compassionate therapist ready to help create lasting, positive growth and success for others.
Students:
Brave Space does not have the capacity for practicum or internship students at this time. Once you have graduated and are seeking licensure, please reach out to us again. We look forward to working with you in the future!
